It seems the orginal home page is locked and I am unable to make changes. It shows it's self in the blog page menu, but not on my dashboard pages. Is there a way I can unlock it, and make changes? The page asks for a password, but my passwords are not working.

The blog I need help with is supportinghealing.wordpress.com.

  2. What is the URL starting with http:// of the site you are referring to?

  3. When you register a username account here all that's required is an email address, which becomes your unique identifier. If you are logged in and register a blog then it's registered under that unique identifier. You cannot access any blog unless you are logged in under the exact username account that registered the blog.

Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

http://stevesautorepair.wordpress.com/ is the URL I am having trouble with. I managed to do something and it is no longer asking for a pass word, however the "first listed" home page is still a dead end when it comes trying to make changes. I am greatful for all help. Thank you. Joanna

  5. however the "first listed" home page is still a dead end when it comes trying to make changes.

Please post an active link starting with http://' to this "first listed" home page.

  6. Are you referring to this error message?

This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.

If so then, by default your front page displays all your posts and you have not published any posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  7. I recommend reading this article so you understand how the Twenty Eleven theme is designed to operate.

Thanks for your help so far.
Here is the link to the page I am having trouble with. http://stevesautorepair.wordpress.com/
I tried your idea and added a post, via the dash board, 3 times and none of them showed up on the defalt home page, and am still reciving the same message.

I have also tried posting a blog post using the button at the top of the page, but the publish button seems to freeze and never actualy publishes the post. Do you have any other ideas? Should I delete the whole blog and try again?

Sorry I take a part of my last posting back. The posts do show up but I have to link to them on the bottom of the page. So I guess my question would be, is there any way to undo my deletion the placeholder Hello World post?
