Homepage won't load when adjusting "blog page show at most" figure

    When I adjust the "Blog pages show at most" over the number 38, my home page won't load. When I switch themes I don't have that problem. Any suggestions?

    spencecooper, is this on spencecooper.wordpress.com? That blog only has 14 posts. I tried setting it to 39 and your home page loaded fine. That's with the Black Letterhead theme active.
