I want to create a horizontal scrolling carousel for user profiles similar the carousel used on http://www.yahoo.com. A horizontal scrollable carousel with images/photos. When an image/photo is clicked, a profile box above will display a larger profile photo, contact info and a textual profile.
Does anyone know a theme or plugin that will do this or similar?

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins. To have plugins you need to hire a web host and set up your own self hosted WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes this.
