I am planning to make a basic website or blog but in my own domain. Should I just buy the domain registration and mapping upgrade which is $13 or do I have to get the bundled package of $99.
I know there are more space and bandwidth and etc etc..on the $99 package but what is the limitation if I just host through wordpress with only $13 domain mapping upgrade?
Please advice.

Don't do anything until you read this entry I link to below and clearly understand that WordPress.com blogs on this multi-user blogging platform are not the same WordPress.org installs that you hire a web host for. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
