I've tried uploading .rm (RealPlayer) files but it says it does not match wordpress security types.
Is it actually possible to upload .rm files into your blog?

I'm sorry, rm files are not allowed on WordPress.com at this time. The blog you mentioned is hosted somewhere else, so that restriction doesn't apply. If you would like to have full control over your blog, you'll have host WordPress yourself. There are plenty of good hosts out there.
