how can i buy a domain?

  1. I went through all the steps, but wp keeps saying the transaction didn't get finished, yet I keep getting receipts from paypal saying I bought a domain.

The blog I need help with is limbahrumahbersih.wordpress.com.

  2. I flagged this for the staff to help

They are on a company wide meetup plotting how to rule the world or something like that so the response time is a bit slow

you can also do a whois and see if the domain was registered, sometimes it takes a short while for the records to be updated

  3. It looks like Paypal wants a different payment method than the one you are using.

  4. What other payment method? How to do it?

  5. I can't even put in a 'transaction id' because its not on the 'activity' list yet, but every time I try to purchase the domain at wordpress I keep getting the 'receipt' from paypal, yet wordpress keeps saying there was a problem with the transaction and that it didn't get finished.
Thank you for both your replies :).

  6. One quick question: do you see that your account has been charged for the purchase?

I've tagged this again for Staff help. Perhaps they can assist you directly as most likely they'll need to see the receipts from PayPal.

  7. This is what happened before paypal limited my account:

At 'Choose a payment method' I chose 'paypal', then I clicked purchase. It brought me to paypal (type a paypal password). After 'authenticating', it went back to wordpress saying that the purchase didn't get completed.

I tried to go back from the beginning (filling in data, etc) a few times (and I keep getting a receipt from paypal to my email), then after the umph time paypal sent me an email saying they limited my account.

  8. Here is the error we are getting from paypal:

10417: Transaction cannot complete. (Instruct the customer to retry the transaction using an alternative payment method from the customers PayPal wallet. The transaction did not complete with the customers selected payment method.)

You may need to contact them and ask them what is going on as the issue is not originating with WordPress.com as far as I can see.

    My apologies for the trouble.

  9. Its okay, I found the problem, yup paypal.
    Thankyou very much ^_^.

  10. Great to hear!

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Otherwise, thanks for using WordPress.
