How can I change the page an image is attached to without deleting the image?

  1. I want to remove the last 7 images on this page (http://kristaraeanderson.wordpress.com/flotsamjetsam/) and although they have been reinserted on another page
(http://kristaraeanderson.wordpress.com/prints/woodcuts/). I can't delete them from the first page without deleting them from the library altogether. How can I change the page that the images are attached to without having to edit and upload them again? Help.

The blog I need help with is kristaraeanderson.wordpress.com.

  2. Yes, you can delete them from the first page without deleting them from the library. Just edit the post and click on each image and hit Delete. They remain in your media library unless you delete them in the media library.

  3. Raincoaster's reply applies to images inserted individually, not to gallery images.

Images are attached to the post or page they were initially uploaded to, and you can't change that. You can either delete them and reupload them, or you can exclude them from showing in the gallery of the first post - see here:
