I'm trying to solve some issues Posterous has with special characters, and I've crafted an OK XML file, but when I import it, nothing happens. No new posts, nothing. I get the email confirming the import, and that's it. I manually sent to Recycle all posts and nothing. Can I start over?
The blog I need help with is bureado.wordpress.com.
I flagged this for staff; there are some issues with Posterus imports right now.
@bureado: your deleted posts are still in Trash, this is probably what's confusing the importer. I recommend that you empty the Trash folder and try the import again. Let me know how it goes!
Thanks. The issue was my XML file was multiline and WordPress only took one-liners. So I stripped the \n's out of it. Anyway, I wrote about it here: http://bureado.wordpress.com/2013/02/21/non-ascii-from-posterous-to-wordpress/
