How can I edit the main source?

  1. Is there a way to edit the main page of a WordPress.com based blog, the page where standard posts are made? This is probably a newbie question but I googled around and can't seem to find an answer, and I can't find it in the dashboard. Thank you in advance.

  2. You can edit the individual posts.

What, specifically, did you want to do? Change the text? The look? The php?

  3. The look, really, was wondering if there was a way to play with the code to move things around, for example. Or insert a banner or things along the side that persist as posts roll on.

  4. You can easily post things in your sidebar. If you don't like the prefab widgets, just put it in a text widget:

As for changing the look, you can't, other than selecting among the prefab themes we have here OR learning CSS thoroughly, purchasing the CSS upgrade, and writing the changes you want. You cannot paste in code or themes you got from outside.

Do NOT buy the upgrade if you don't know what you're doing. There's no support and you are completely on your own.

  5. Alright, thank you much!
