How can I have the ping time in my stats ?

  1. Hello,

I saw that Google Analyrics wasn't compatible with WordPress anymore, so I wonder : how can I have the ping time/ time while visitors stayed connected to my blog ?
I saw several plugins on this page but I can't choose between them... http://lilmaouz.wordpress.com/2010/03/08/compteurs-compatibles/

The blog I need help with is bloglesky.wordpress.com.

For the sake of clarity: WordPress.COM does not support Google Analytics, and to the best of my knowledge, it never has. It's WordPress.ORG that currently supports it.

The page you are quoting is not giving plugins, but rather free counters that provide a little more information than what the built-in WordPress.com stats have. They may give you the time a visitor comes in, but without JavaScript or cookies, I doubt they will be able to tell you exactly how long a visitor stayed.

  3. Ok, so there is no way to have these informations on WordPress if I understand well !
    Thank you for your answer

  4. I use stat counter and it only gives time on site if more than one page is clicked on so things are sort of crude - the weekly summery will give a bit of time on site - but I don't think it is real accurate - it will give a bit of a trend -

Mostly I look at visitors - page views and views per visitor - I also have cluster maps for the nice red dots - I also don't fret too much about the fine stuff - many other things to spend time on.

  5. Sitemeter provides that information ie. how long visitors were on a page. It's one of the reasons I choose to use it.
