how can I move back

  1. I am just not able to like this.
    How can I move back to my livespace?

    The blog I need help with is sunnyyichen.wordpress.com.

  2. G'day,
    The move is permanent. There is no going back to Windows Live Spaces and 6 months from now there will be no Windows Live Spaces. Please see thses sticky posts at the head of the forum which have been placed there to help you make the transition:

    @SunnyYichen

    I am SO with you... I am totally not able to like this, and wish I'd kept my Live Space up to the very end, rather than messing with this GARBAGE.

    I love (NOT) the arrogant tone in the reply you received...

    "The move is permanent. There is no going back to Windows Live Spaces and 6 months from now there will be no Windows Live Spaces."

    Ever feel like you've been taken hostage?? Well, you have now. "They" even refuse to delete an account stating it poses a problem for their software. As an 40+ year I.T. veteran I say that's a blatant lie.

    Hey, at least she's honest in her tagname... my time was definitely stolen jerking around with this.

  4. Don't blame wordpress. Blame Microsoft. They are the ones that are killing live spaces. Most services that terminate don't even try to find you a new home, they just say adios (sometimes) and close the doors.

    You can export your blog from here anytime you want and move wherever you want. There is tumblr, blogger, typepad, livejournal ning and others. Explore, find one that gives you everything you want.

    As far as your account goes, delete your blog here and then just forget about it. It's no big deal.

  5. You haven't been taken hostage by WordPress. You've been evicted by Microsoft.

  6. @veronicalynnereeves: I saw nothing arrogant in the tone of timethief's answer. She only wanted to emphasize that the move is permanent. What I do find arrogant is the attitude of some people moving from Windows Live Spaces who take it out on us, unpaid volunteers who have not asked to be treated this way.

    Just my two cents.
