   I'm running a company blog on http://www.mikinordic.wordpress.com and I need to expand this to Japanese and Chinese. Currently, I cannot find any easy was to do this. I understand that full customization with plug-ins is only avaiable for blogs that are self-hosted, but it makes no sense to me that this isn't already a part of the plug-ins at wordpress.com... I believe there are a lot of users in need of this service, is it not?

   Anyway, I need some tips on how I could fix this problem. I considered migrating over to worpress.org, or creating three separate blogs and linking together, but both seem very clunky and less than optimal. Is there no easy way to manage this? Also, I have to ask, why???

   I hope you can answer this, and give me advice on how I can fix my problem. I've already invested in an upgraded account, and I would hate to have to move when I already love so much else about your service.

   Unfortunately, that's not available on WordPress.com.

   You can, however, register as many blogs as you need under one account, so you could have one for each language. To do that, visit https://en.wordpress.com/signup/ while logged in.

   Otherwise follow these steps on how to add a translation widget to your WordPress.com blog.

   There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.

   Thank you for your quick reply! I think I will have to resort to having three separate blogs. Although it is very disappointing that this isn't an issue you have fixed. Are there any plans for integrating this as a wordpress.com plug-in?

   I'm still a bit unsure of a few things. Since if I choose to have one blog per language, do I need to upgrade all three separately to have the same design? Since I already have the Value Bundle / Pro upgrade on my blog, that means I need to buy it twice over again. That seems rather expensive, just to get the ability to have my blog in several languages.

   I don't want to recreate my blog from the ground up twice. I assume that it's possible to use the Export/Import utility to make copies of my blog?

   Also, does the stats overview only cover one blog, or can it also track the traffic for all my blogs?

   Having multiple blogs require multiple upgrades. In your situation it might be best to use the (free) translation widget.

   Sorry, but the widget is completely useless. It might be OK if the intention is to make the content discernable for foreigners, but I need to have it on a professional level.

   Could I also get an answer to my other two questions?

   I'm sorry, that's the only solution we can offer on WordPress.com. We've registered your suggestion and will keep it in mind for future features and updates.    Regarding your other questions. Stats are only tracked per individual blog. You can move the blog content by exporting and importing it to your new blog.
