how can i reduce the spaces between texts?

  1. hello, i have just upgraded to the custom desing but i am lost about this CSS thing. i read some tutorials but not sure how to use it and how to apply it to my page.

    in this example

    http://9thwavegallery.wordpress.com/artists/panos-antonopoulos/

    the space between temporary exhibitions and the bullets is too big

    The blog I need help with is 9thwavegallery.wordpress.com.

  2. That gap is the bottom paragraph margin that affects all paragraphs, and also the bottom margin in ordered and unordered lists as well. You can adjust all of them by adding the following to the bottom of your custom CSS and then playing with the bottom margin value.

    p, ol, ul {
    margin-bottom: 1.85714rem;
    }

    If you only want to affect the space before ordered or unordered lists, and want to have paragraph spacing stay the same, you can add this instead. It is kind of a hack, but it is really the only thing that will reduce just those spacings.

    ul, ol {
    margin-top: -1.5rem;
    }

    Alternately you can do this in the post itself instead of in the main CSS by adding a "style" declaration to the opening UL tag in the "text" tab in the post or page editor such as this:

    <ul style="margin-top: -1.5rem;">

  3. thanks, the last one worked

    but i do not get it, about the css orders, where do i have to put them? hot can i apply them in each page?

  4. At WordPress.com, you can add CSS code to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page. CSS added there will affect all of your pages.
