How can I remove subscribers from my author page?

  1. Hi, I have recently added an author page to my website but cannot figure out a way to remove all the spammy looking subscribers from it? It seems that anyone who signs up and leaves info in their bio os added to my author page...

    How to I fix this?

I need to either change the privileges of subcribers or edit the code and permissions of my author.php file.

Neither of these things I can do!

    Any ideas??

    The page is here: http://datenightagenda.com/authors/

The blog I need help with is datenightagenda.com.

  2. The blog you specified at datenightagenda.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

    This is an automated message.

  3. That is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. Those are the only blogs we provide support for here. Your are posting to the wrong support forum. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  4. I'm not sure how the author page for that theme is setup. I would definitely recommend trying to contact the theme author directly first, and ask if they are willing to help you come up with the custom code you might need (probably PHP and not CSS) to make the adjustment you asked about. If the theme author isn't able to volunteer time to help you, you can ask in the volunteer-based forums timethief suggested, but they probably aren't familiar with the theme and it would probably be difficult for them to help you (they might give you some direction about how to do it on your own though).

If you aren't able to find any free help in either spot, consider hiring some design help as a small job:
