unwanted spam / popup banner advertising now appears on my blog. This is on the top banner, the top sidebar and bottom banner. Can you please help to delete these?

  2. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade. WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.

  3. WordPress.com does not use op-up ads. If that's what you are seeing then diable all of your browser add-ons and extensions. View your blog to see if they disappear. If they do then enable them one at a time to locate "the culprit" that's causing these pop-ups to appear.

  4. op-up ads = pop-up ads

  5. How do I know if I have browser add-on and exstensions? How do I locate them? How do I disable them?
How do I load a picture so you can see it?

  7. The only ads we're running right now appear below your blog post.

If you see anything different, especially if the ad says "Ads not by this site," you are being affected by a corrupt or infected browser add-on or extension, and you'll need to disable each one until you find the cause, then delete it.

  8. I have uploaded the unwanted picture into my WordPress Media Library.
Awaiting instructions. It's name is Clipboard04

  9. Yes, as mentioned above, "If you see anything different, especially if the ad says "Ads not by this site," you are being affected by a corrupt or infected browser add-on or extension, and you'll need to disable each one until you find the cause, then delete it."
