How can I transfer my followers to a self hosted wordpress blog?

    I moved my blog http://gearsoftvalue.wordpress.com to a self hosted one http://www.gearsoftimes.com and I would like to transfer my followers to the new site. I've installed the jetpack plugin and linked it to the previous blog. Is it possible? If not I don't know how to contact them.

    Please I would like my blog followers transferred too. I just moved from http://www.naijawriterscoach.wordpress.com to http://www.NaijaWritersCoach.com.

    I've already installed and activated Jetpack.

    But there should have been a problem.

    I had 16 followers and now only one. tha old blog shows no followers (and I think it's correct cause you transferred them) but the new one shows only one.

    Can I make the same request? I've installed/activated jetpack and my wordpress blog is:

    And the new self-hosted blog is:

    http://www.jangalikayamane.com

    gearsoftvalue, we can only transfer email followers, as the WordPress.com Reader does not support non-WordPress.com blogs.

    oxygenmat and friffin, I have transferred your followers as requested, but please create your own threads next time.

    Thanks a lot. It's sad the followers on WordPress.com reader can't be trasferred as those are the ones I need. I've catered for the email subscribers through my newly-launched newsletter.

    I regret and am sorry for any inconvenience, but can you help me reverse the action? I don't need the email subscribers getting updates directly (as my newsletter has covered them).

    I'm sorry, but the transfer is irreversible.

    In this case, they'll have to unsubscribe themselves via a link at the bottom of the emails.
