How can I upload a document as a template, that people can download to make an agenda?
I am using open office on linux. Some of the file types are ods, ots, xls, xlt, dif, but none of these are listed under upload new media.
The blog I need help with is johnlvs2run.wordpress.com.
.odt (OpenDocument Text Document) is supported, which is the standard Open Office text document.
You can also save them as Word files, which actually might be a better choice since the majority of people use Word, and Open Office has no issues opening Word documents.
This is actually a spreadsheet, for an agenda. Maybe that's why the "s" is on the end of the format. There is no choice for odt or doc.
I just tried to upload one and got this message "Error saving media attachment."
Spreadsheets cannot be uploaded.
Put the spreadsheet into a text document is my only suggestion.
