how do a change "ownership" of a blog so a different person can upgrade it?

  1. I somehow am the owner of a blog that I helped someone set up. It's time to renew her upgrades, but she can't renew them from her dashboard -- only I seem to have access to the renewal. How can we switch so that she "owns" the domain and can make the renewals?

    The blog I need help with is jane-lin.com.

  2. You make here an Admin of the blog in question first and then use this process to transfer the blog to here username account.

    As it turns out, I was not the owner -- when I found the link you point out, it offered only "remove" (others in that list offered the transfer option, so I know I was int he right place). I did successfully remove myself, but it hasn't solved my problem.

    Apparently the purchase of the upgrades was made while logged into my account, not the actual owner's (even though we used her credit card info). So now, on her dashboard, there is information saying "this upgrade is up for renewal," but it shows that the purchase was made by me and offers no way to renew it via her account.

    Is there any way to remedy this? Do we need to let it lapse, and then re-purchase it?

  7. Just so I don't move the wrong things, specifically which upgrades did you want to transfer to which user?

  8. Everything related to Jane-Lin.com (aka 28lin.wordpress.com) that is currently associated with my techtamer user account should be moved to her account, which is under username [email redacted]. That should include a custom domain plus the registration of that domain, and also a custom design upgrade. I think the domain upgrade did get renewed (it said the transaction failed, but it appears actually to have gone through), but we did not try to renew the custom design upgrade yet.

    Apparently, they payment for the domain must have gone through, since it's good until 2014. :)
