I have the Garland theme in my blog, http://interactiveideas.wordpress.com/. The default pages were the "Home" and "About". When I renamed the "About" page, the link to my homepage disappeared. How do I add a link to my homepage in the "Pages" section?

How do I add a link to my homepage in my "Pages"?
I visited your blog and it looks like you have resolved this issue. But, if not then please post again.
I'm having this issue with the rounded theme. Can someone post the answer? Thanks!
Would you please post a link to your blog so we could take a look?
One thing to try is to log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies and then log back in and take a look. It could be a caching issue.
Thanks for the quick reply. I cleared and then couldn't see anything. My site is southingtonkidsplace.wordpress.com.

I just tried and the link in your blog title seems to be working just fine.
You don't. The "home page" link is embedded in the blog title and no matter which page your readers are on when they click the blog title they return to your home page.
Thanks timethief. I did know that, I'm just not sure my patrons will. Some of them have no clue what a blog is. Also, I'll have kids using the site who need more specific instructions. I think if they see the word "home" listed as one of the pages, as I've seen on other sites, it's just easier.
The other themes you refer tohave a "home" or "blog" paged coded into them so they automatically appear and cannot be deleted. The theme you have chosen does not have this feature.
You have two options. You can change themes to one that has that feature. Or you can place a home page link in a text widget and place it at the top of your sidebar to draw attention to it.
P.S. When it comes to kids using the site, I find the Snap Preview pop-up on your blog to be annoying and distracting. What's more is that it slows page loading time. If you intend to have lots of images and/or expect the kids to focus on site content rather than the "novelty" of playing with it then I would suggest that you turn it off. This can be done here -> Presentation -> Extras (uncheck the checkbox and click "Update Extras" to save. )
Happy blogging :)
Thanks! I appreciate the instructions and advice. I must admit you are right about the Snap Preview. I can't resist playing with it. I'm going to leave it for a bit because I really like it and then if the kids seems distracted (we have a card catalog near the desk and can see), then I will follow your directions. Thanks again.
You're welcome. :)
