How do I add more pages on my blog?

    Hi everyone,
I am trying to create more pages that I can post to on my blog. To my understanding I have to pay to do this. Once I do, I will have the freedom to change the CSS code. If I change the code I can create categories to act as pages. Am I on the right track or am I in left field with a fishing pole? Anyone know how to do this successfully, and, have the CSS code to complete this task? Thank-you.

The blog I need help with is jessicamcampbell.wordpress.com.

  2. You don't need to purchase an upgrade to be able to add more pages.

In particular, the Custom Design upgrade gives you the options to use the Custom Colors, Custom Fonts, and CSS Editor features. Check out the details here:

To add posts or pages though, check out these help pages:

If I change the code I can create categories to act as pages.

This doesn't require changing code. A category page becomes automatically available as soon as you add any category to a published post:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#video

Then if you'd like to add a link to a category page in your menu, you can recreate your main menu as a custom menu:

  3. No you are not on track. Every blog here can have custom menu. No CSS upgrade is required for that. This isn't about static pages at all. They do not automatically update. It's about categories pages which are dynamic ie. they automatically update.

Among the most common misconceptions is that bloggers fail to understand is
    (1) there is only one page we can post to in any blog and
    (2) the static pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ they create do not automatically update.

Only the dynamic pages like Categories, Tags and Archives created by the software when we publish a post we that we have assigned Categories and Tags too will update automatically update with posts.

By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.

We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.
