how do I amend site stats to exclude my visits?

  1. The site statistics seem to include my own visits even though I log into the dashboard first (then open up the site in a separate browser) and even though my site is switched on to 'visible'.
    Blog url: http://businessandsocialpurpose.wordpress.com/

  2. Your blog is currently marked as private. When private, we track all users on the blog.

Once your blog is public, we'll no longer track your visits.

  3. hello macmanx, even though my blog is marked as 'visible' on the dashboard, it is still recording my visits.

Also, one of the RSS feeds (Community Development Foundation), does not work. This may be down to CDF rather than WordPress but none of the links are clickable.

  4. It's not the visibility setting that affects it (that's just for your own blogs list), it's the privacy setting at Settings -> Privacy in your blog's Dashboard.
