How do I block certain individuals from viewing my site?

  1. I have someone that I don't want to have the priviledge of viewing my site, they are stealing my work. How do I block that paticular user?

The blog I need help with is whocantopit.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi there,

We cannot block or delete subscribers from public blogs. By definition public means that everyone on the internet can visit a blog and subscribe to it. However, please read this about public blogs that become private blogs > Blog Privacy and Subscribers > http://wpcommaven.wordpress.com/2011/09/05/blog-privacy-and-subscribers/

Note that you have complete control comment moderation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-moderation

Also note there is no upgrade you can purchase that changes what I stated above.

  3. You could also file a take down notice DMCA with their host to have the stolen content removed - if you do a good enough job with the notice the whole site can be taken down @raincoaster is the master of this

  4. Thanks auxclass

Here are the appropriate steps that you may take to file a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) notice, should you determine that any of your content has been stolen or used in an unauthorized manner: http://en.support.wordpress.com/content-theft-what-to-do/
