   This is my first attempt at blogging and I can't find the answer to two problems I am having...

   1) After the title, "The Hourglass", there is an annoying tag line of something like "the best little blog on wordpress.com" - How do I edit that to something else/get rid of it altogether?

   2) My first post has the wrong date and I'm not sure why. I think I started a draft on the 10th, before Mother's Day, and then once I had talked to Mom on that day, I finished the post and published it. What did I miss?

   To change the tagline, on your Dashboard go to Settings/General and edit what it says in the "tagline" box, and remember to save your changes.

   To change the date on your post to whatever you want it to be, go to the post editor and where you see 'Published on' in the Publish module, click the 'edit' link near the date. Just change it to what you want it to be and then click the 'Update' button.
