How do I contact Support directly?

  1. In the past, I could contact Support directly, if I could not find the answers I needed--now I cannot.

Why has WordPress made its Support staff inaccessible to members?

I'm having a problem with my stats page. I cannot see the entire page, because I can no longer scroll from left to right on my stats page.

I shouldn't have to ask other bloggers for help--I should be able to ask the WordPress Staff for help. "Can the blind lead the blind?"

  2. As far as I know Support doesn't really have a phone nuber to call for help but you can contact via the support section (support.wordpress.com) on WordPress.com. (You must fill out a form)

Ask me your WordPress question today!

Since about March of this year, support via the Support contact form is only available to those with a paid upgrade. All other inquiries submitted in that form are redirected to the Community forums. If you click the "More Info" link before filling out the form, you'll see

We believe everyone deserves fantastic support for their WordPress.com blog. Our backlog of requests has consistently grown as our team of 10 receives nearly 8,000 messages a week. To get caught up and give our customers the support they expect with paid upgrades, we made the difficult decision to limit the contact form to customers with upgrades. Once we are caught up we will work on bringing a high level of support back for everyone.

If you are new to WordPress.com we have a step-by-step guide to all things WordPress. Our helpful forums remain open and you can find more details in our support documentation. There we have guides on getting started, writing your first post, and finding your readers.

We will update this space as we work on bringing back outstanding, free support for everyone. Thank you.

@solosocial - Please see the other threads you've opened by clicking on your username next to "Welcome" at the top right of the forum pages.

Earlier I asked you what OS and Browser you're using, as well as your screen resolution. Answering those questions may assist either us or Staff in answering your question, as this thread has been marked for Staff assistance.
