How do I customize post appearance on a static home page?

  1. I am trying to customize the way my posts are displayed in wordpress. I have my home page set to static and only want to display the 4 most recent posts. Each post contains a title, a video and some written content.

    My problem is that my home page is not displaying the date/time and also no divider line is showing up. How do I go about changing how each post is displayed?

    I want each post to look something like this:

    [date]---------------------[time]

    -----------[title]---------------

    -------[---video---]-----------
    -written content--

    [tags]----------------[fb like]--

    -------divider line--------------
