how do I delete a pre-existing subtitle that's part of a free theme?

  1. I'm using the 'Oxygen' theme, and a subtitle that says "This WordPress.com site is the cat’s pajamas" is appearing under the title of my blog on the homepage. When I went to 'headers' and tried to delete it, it wouldn't allow me to edit the header text - I can only upload an image. Is there any way to get rid of this subtitle without creating and uploading a graphic?

  2. That's a Tagline. A Blog Title and/or optional Tagline can be changed at any time on the Page > Settings > General. Don't forget to click "save changes" when you are done.

  3. Thanks! It's fixed.

  4. You're welcome. :)
