   I want to update my list of catagories and delete the ones I no longer need. How do I detete them?

   The blog I need help with is kqduane.com.

   You can do that in your dashboard > Posts > Categories
   http://kqduane.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category
   Deleting a category does not delete the posts in that category. Instead, posts that were only assigned to the deleted category are set to the default category.
   If you have a lot of categories that you want to delete, then you can use the bulk actions feature. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/#bulk-actions
