I have a customer site where Jetpack was loaded on a previous install. I am unable to delete the wp-content/plugins/jetpack folder. I have tried changing permissions, renaming, etc. using the hosts ftp and other ftp programs. What do i need to do to delete the files ?
the wp install does not exist anymore so it is not possible to deactivate.

Can you walk me through what happens when you try to delete the folder? What are you doing to delete it? What's the error message you see?
