How do I delete the home page widget area?

    On my blog page: http://spotteddog.co.nz/blog/

    I need to get rid of, or edit the text at the top:
    "This is the home page widget area. You can use this space to add an introductory message to your blog with a Text Widget or add any other widget here."

    I swear I have looked everywhere, but I can't find the option, can anyone help?
