I see no dashboard in the new WordPress layout, and the 'new post' option doesn't have automatic resizing option for pictures and there's no provision to view the permalink before posting it. Also the absence of word count feature has collectively made the entire process of writing a post too painful for me.
The blog I need help with is blastatrumpet.wordpress.com.
Even if links to it have been moved, your Dashboard is the same place it's always been:
https://blastatrumpet.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php
Add it to your Bookmarks/Favorites.
Click on 'my blogs' in the blue bar and then click 'blog admin' and that will take you to your Dashboard, or when on stats page click the blue WordPress 'W' logo on the right hand side and that also will take you to your Dashboard.
It took me almost an hour more on the same day to figure out, but I did manage to find out my beloved dashboard. Thanks for the support, both of you!
