Pages don't have dates, so you could use pages.

If you want to use posts, you can usually find a way to hide the date using the paid upgrade for Custom CSS.

Yes, I've created several Pages, and that's working well. However, I would like a nice clean homepage for my website. It appears that the only way to put content on the initial page is to post a blog. And that blog always includes a date. Am I wrong about this? My site is dalebridges.org.
