How do I get the 'Blogroll' actually 'rolling'

  • Greetings,
    I am in the process of moving to WordPress from Blogspot as WordPress I find to be more robust and having more options than the latter. However, there is one feature that I am very partial to that I can’t seem to get to work with WordPress: the ‘Blogroll’.
    With Blogspot, the Blogroll actually ‘rolls’ as new posts are made by authors, so it is possible to keep up to date with bloggers of interest. With WordPress, the list is static, displaying only the titles of blogs, not recent postings, and not updating the recent postings.
    How do I get the blogroll to perform akin to chez Blogspot? Do I need to get a different/custom widget to achieve this functionality? Is there anything needed in order to even get this widget?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Sorry, that is not something that can be done at wordpress.com.

  • How to I remove the links in the blogroll area put in by WordPress staff? I just want my own links under my blogroll.

  • Dashboard->Links->Delete.

  • Good to know. Just moved from blogger myself.
