I followed the instructions about copy and pasting the youtube link and pasting it in the post edit box, but only link appears on my blog not the actually video.
please advise if there is something I am doing wrong?

It looks like your link was formatted with an "a href" tag around it, which transformed it into a link and not an embed. I've corrected that, it should be fine now.
If you ever have troubles with pasting the YouTube link again, remember that you can always use a shortcode instead, to make sure it works:
