Sorry, but that's a limitation of the theme. CSS can't be used to add dynamic content, such as a sidebar, to a page where it doesn't already exist. And posts in the Twenty Eleven theme were designed without a sidebar.
You might consider another similar theme. Click the "Find a Theme" button at the top of this page to get some good search options:
