I'm SUPER confused! I've already tried filezilla and I just didn't understand how to use it. Please give me a step by step instruction on how to do this, so I'm not as confused!

The blog I need help with is thebucketlist4teens.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi. If you are referring to this blog... http://thebucketlist4teens.wordpress.com/
...then it's normal if you are confused, because there's no FTP access (with Filezilla for instance) or plugins allowed with blogs hosted by WordPress.com. Click on the link below for details.

  3. How do I get the plugin option?

airodyssey has provided your answer. There is no FTP access to free hosted wordpress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or any themes into them Plugins are only for are for wordpress.ORG installs which run on different software.

If you feel you need them then you will need to hire a web host, get a free software install from wordpress.ORG and self host your own blog.

If you are referring to a free hosted blog from wordpress.com please post the URL starting with http:// so we can confirm we are providing the correct answers for the software you are using. There are widgets and workarounds we can provide for those who have wordpress.com free hosted blogs that may meet their needs, provided, of course, that they tell us exactly what they want a plugin for.

If you are referring to a wordpress.ORG install then you are posting to the wrong support forum and ought to be posting to this one > http://wordpress.ORG/support/
