Because I want to affect a single post across all search engines, I was thinking more of a way to add meta tags to say no index. We have the setting for search engines for the whole blog, is there a way for the same choices for one post?
I want to prevent rather than remove after the fact. -
Search Engine indexing cannot be changed on a per-post basis, but you could consider making the post private or password-protected: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
