How do I move my posts into my archives?

  1. It's seems like it ought to be extremely easy but I can't figure out a way to move posts on my page into my archive folder. How does one do this? I'm sure the support page answers this in wordpress-speak, but I don't speak that language!

    For any help, thanks.

The blog I need help with is subjecttocome.wordpress.com.

  2. In the past one could set the number of posts available on the front page (of all themes) and they would automatically go to your archives.
dashboard—>settings—>reading settings—>Blog pages show at most (set the number)—>save

But now many/soon-all-suitable themes have infinite scroll:

Your posts will still be automatically archived for such widgets as "archives" "categories" "recent posts"

    It can be disabled:
