I'm searching to see which upgrade to Wp.com allows me to put videos and picture links straight on my homepage. I'm going over the pros and con about switching to wp.org or getting upgrades to wp.com and need advice from wp experts. Please help.
The blog I need help with is ggvogue.com.
I know that .org allows forums on website, but does .com do the same thing? Any advice would be appreciated.
You don't need any upgrades to embed a YouTube or images in your blog. Just refer to the Support documents for instructions.

If you want to upload your own video you will need the Videopress upgrade and the space upgrade.
You can't embed a forum on a WP.com website but if you set one up somewhere else, you can link to it from here.
I guess what I'm trying to say is if there is a widget to watch videos on the side of a homepage ( im using oxygen) and an album of photos link to different posts on the website that shows each picture.
