How do I remove a photo border with a caption?

  1. I have the twenty eleven theme and when I place an image with a caption into a post, it places a thick gray border around it. Without the caption, the photo doesn't have a border when I put 0 in for the border amount in Advanced Settings. But as soon as I add a caption, the border is back in again. Is there a way to remove the border when I have a caption? I don't have the CSS upgrade.

Also, when I use a caption, it won't center the caption under the photo. Is there any way to control the caption alignment?

The blog I need help with is veronicamade.wordpress.com.

  2. The only way to remove it is with the CSS upgrade, I believe. It should, however, center the caption. That's very odd.

  3. Darn! Thanks. I guess I'm going to have to get the CSS upgrade, then. How does one learn CSS?
