How do I remove a user from Stats Access?

  1. Hi,

I recently gave another WordPress user access to my Stats (/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats), as he needed to see my visitors as part of a business proposition.

However, I would now like to remove him from the list. Is there any way I can do this myself? I can't seem to find any way of doing this. Any help would be much appreciated.

  2. Are you talking about the blog that's linked to your username? If you are, I think you're in the wrong forum; this forum is for WordPress.com blogs and you look like you're using the WordPress.org software. If you ask over at http://wordpress.org/support/ they should be able to help you.

  3. Ooops. Sorry. Didn't know there were different support places. I'll head off over there.

    Thanks :)

  4. You're welcome and hope you get it solved.

This came up a few weeks ago and I never saw the answer. I think wp.org Stats is supported here, because it requries a .com log-in/API. Perhaps someone who knows for sure can clarify this?

  6. Yes, we do support the WordPress.com account-related issues like this one.

ps3bloggen: I have removed the second user from your blog.

There will be an interface for Admins to remove Subscribers, but if you promote them to Admins you will lose that ability.

  7. That new interface is in place. It's a Remove button next to each subscriber.

  8. Thanks for the clarification! (and now-simple solution)

  9. Yay, thank you very much Andy!

    Have a good weekend.
