how do i remove hovering slender autohide type banner on my page?

  1. there is an annoying slender transparent banner thing on my page that pops up then autohides. the left part serves as a scroll to top feature then the right side says blog at wordpress and the name of the theme. i do not want it hovering there, it is annoying as hell and it didnt used to be there. how do i get rid of it?

    Disabling the infinite scroll feature to get rid of the pop-up in the footer results in a "Load More Posts" tab, and you can't disable that "Load More Posts" tab from appearing without the Custom Design upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
