I'm using the Spotlight 1.3 theme http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/3833/spotlight-13/ on another blog and I can't figure out how to reply to someone's comment using blockquotes.
They are available when I make a new post but not when i want to comment on someone's else's comment because obviously there is no tool bar available when you're responding from the blog itself and not the dashboard/control panel where you edit.
So how do I use that blockquote graphic in a comment response?
Try adding this in the comment box; this is the code that should do it.
<blockquote>your text here</blockquote>
Is your blog on WordPress.com, though? You sound like you're self-hosted with WP.org; our blogs work differently and if you have any more problems you'd be better of looking for help at http://wordpress.org/support/
