how do I retrieve the id for the facebook like widget?

there is a box in my widget area that says, "Could not retrieve id for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in." I do not know how to fix this.

Make sure that you're entering a URL for an actual Facebook page, not your personal profile. See this for details on the differences: http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=174987089221178
