   I have just joined and their is a Meta list (Site Admin, Logout, Rss, Comments Rss, Valid XHTML, XFN, WordPress.com) on the right side of my landing page. Is there a way that I turn this off to outside viewers? It wold see that particularly "Site Admin," "Valid XHTML," and "XFN" should be listed for anyone to see. My blog is at 501cweb.wordpress.com. Thanks for letting me know.

   You cannot edit the meta widget. You can eliminate use of the widget entirely by removing it from your sidebar.

   Remove meta wiget by: starting at your dashboard: pesentation; sidebar wigets; drag and drop the wiget out of your sidebar and back into the box of available wigets.
