How do I use the Social Bartender plugin with the Forever theme?

    Hello,

    My friend has a WP blog as well, and used the plugin called "Social Bartender" to organize her social media icons. I found the plugin, but it seems very confusing to use - any tips?

    Your friend must have a self hosted WordPress.org install.

    There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them for security reasons. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

    Also note that no blogger initiated advertising is allowed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

    Got it - If I paid for the domain and pay yearly to renew, isn't that not free? Are you saying it's an issue that I have ads and sponsored posts on my blog?

    Yes. Posting advertising will result in a suspended blog. You have a free blog and free hosting and just like me you purchased domain mapping. That's what we get and it's all we get. There is no upgrade we can purchase from WordPress.com that allows blogger initiated advertising on a free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

    You can hire a web host, set up a WordPress.org install and move your content into it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
