How do you add a footer to every post?

  1. Any ideas? I've tried searching but am only coming up with hosted WordPress plugin solutions. Thank you for your time!

The blog I need help with is monicarysavy.wordpress.com.

  2. Will you please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question when posting to these forums? That way we can be sure we provide accurate information.

Linking your WordPress.com username to your WordPress.com blog is the best free advertising you can get. It’s very easy to do. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

What do you want to appear in the "footer" of the blog?
And do you really mean the footer or the blog or do you mean "at the end of my posts"?

If it's a a copyright notice then we cannot edit templates or themes but we can place a copyright notice in our sidebar in a text widget or we can place it in a footer area for widgets in some themes. If you actually mean "at the end of my posts" then you can create a copy and paste to place at the end of your posts if that's what you wish to do.

Some themes are coded to display the author’s profile including their avatar, when you view a single post (provided you have entered some info in the “About you” field of the profile). Users > My Profile
