I want to add a plugin to my wordpress website.. however the plugins menu is not there at all in the dashboard I know i've used it before... any help would be appreciated?
Same goes for widgets.. how do you add new ones?

There are restrictions on the code that we can use on this multi-user wordpress.com platform for security reasons.
Also, plugins cannot be used at wordpress.COM for security reasons. Plugins are for self-hosted wordpress sites using the software from wordpress.ORG.

If the code for the widgets is straight HTML (no restricted code or scripts) then you paste the code into a test widget.
