How do you embed Ustream live broadcasts?

    Okay, can someone please give me specific instructions for adding a Ustream live stream to my blog (preferably the sidebar)?
    Isn't there a WordPress shortcode for Ustream? I think the format is [ ustream 123456789.usv]
    If that is the correct format, could you tell me where I find that channel id number?

    I tried Vodpod, but I'm not getting anything from that either.

    When you say you aren't getting anything from vodpod it makes me wonder if you know that all shortcodes must be entered into the HTML editor and not the Visual editor.

    It gave me a flash player box with nothing in it when I put it on a page. I just got the shortcode itself when I put it in the sidebar.
    And shortcodes don't have to be put in the HTML editor, actually. For example, if you use the insert video button in a post and add a YouTube URL, it puts the shortcode right there in the visual editor.

    I have NEVER found a way to embed Ustream or Qik into a WP.com blog. And I used to work for a livestreaming organization and even asked staff for help. As far as i know it's not possible.

    If Vodpod's button cannot do it, I don't think it's possible.

    Argghh! I meant to type - WordPress.com blogs do not have FTP access and they do not have plugins!
