How do you post a series of continuous pictures

  1. I really need help

The blog I need help with is rickyabesamis.wordpress.com.

  2. I would suggest a gallery. You can set the number of columns for the images, and you can even set it to one column and then add a size attribute to the shortcode to have the images full-sized if you wish. You won't be able to add any text between the images though. If you want text between the images, then you would have to insert them one by one.

  3. Captions work a treat as far as limited text goes, but you can split your Gallery up using "includes" and insert text between the groups of photos.

    See here:

  4. Can I jump in here on a related subject?
I'm preparing a page and uploaded a photo to go at the start of the page. Then after some text I want to put in a gallery of photos, but it includes the photo I used at the start; how do I keep them separate, or can't I?

    Thanks

    Al

  5. Find the ID for the image you don't want in the gallery—open the image for editing and look in the URL to find it. Then use the "exclude" option in the gallery shortcode. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#gallery-shortcode

  6. and where is the gallery short code?

  7. Ah! OK, sorry I need to switch to html view?

  8. Yep. HTML view.
