   1.) How do you save a blog?

   2.) How then do you stop others editing your saved blog? Is this done automatically?

   What do you mean by save a blog?? If you mean to back it up then just export the blog through the manage menu.

   Also only you (or those you promote) can edit posts. All any one else can do is post comments, unless you disable comments

   1) If you are talking about blog content, it is saved once you create or edit and entry and push the 'save' button. If you are talking about backups, wordpress.com blogs are backed up on a regular basis and so is the content.

   2) Only those that you have as users on your account can edit anything in your blog.
